Information

My partner and I will tell you about food composting. 30% of the worlds food is thrown away a year. All that food goes to  a landfill  and the stuff you can recycle just stays there. Once the landfill fills up we have to buy more land and that means taxes and a prices will rise.  All schools together waste over $1,000,000,000 for school lunches.  Every year rich countries waste almost (222 million tons) of food.

Red worms are kept in a bin with shredded paper or other biodegradable bedding. You feed them food waste.Red worms are typically used in compost piles, whether indoors or outdoors.  The worm container should be shallow, no more than 18 inches deep.Red worms feed near the surface, so there's no need for anything deeper."Vermicomposting" is an indoor method for recycling household garbage with red worms.
