Carbon dioxide is one of the ways that global warming is caused. Global Warming is a increase in temperature near the surface of the earth. It is mostly caused by humans burning fossil fuels. In 1750 the carbon dioxide was at its lowest and now it is at its highest. Humans are now burning fossil fuels like coal,oil,and natural gas to heat their homes and cars. This causes carbon dioxide to build up in the atmosphere. The more pollution there is the warmer the earth is going to be.
Get two boxes of the same size and build the same landform in each
Cover one box with clear wrap to simulate a high amount of CO2 in the atmosphere (pollution from fossil fuels)
Place a thermometer in each of the boxes
Point a desk lamp at the exact middle point of the two boxes
